Since 2012, Rachel Eaton-Jones. Previously deputy at Wellington School, Somerset, she studied psychology at Bristol. Educated at boarding school herself, so Trinity is familiar territory. Although it is a traditional school, Rachel feels they are more ‘contemporary’ here, encouraging pupils to ask questions rather than just being told, and ultimately taking responsibility. The school is without doubt friendly. Rachel’s office is a treasure trove of bits and bobs to amuse and comfort any child. Her door is always open. Parents have nothing but praise: ‘The current headmistress is a real reason why I chose to have [my child] attend the prep school.’ 'The head teacher manages that wonderful combination of care and love with growth, encouragement to reach their potential.
