Thank the school
Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.
This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.
Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.
Special Education Needs
At Tytherington, we have an excellent reputation for providing a fully inclusive education for students who have barriers to learning. The school provides both in-class and withdrawn support for pupils that have learning, behavioural and medical difficulties. These include SpLD, MLD, ESBD, ASD, DAMP, ACC and Down's Syndrome. For some students, there is the option of a more supportive ethos by working within the Learning Support base, especially if the student returns to school on a temporary or part-time basis. The department has extensive experience of working with students who have more diverse needs too; medical difficulties have included Diabetes, Visual and Hearing Impairment, Cystic Fibrosis and Crohn's Disease. We are currently working towards the Inclusion Quality Mark and the Dyslexia Schools Initiative.
