Our specialist facilities include a state of the art science room, art studio with kiln, library, music suite, additional peripatetic teaching rooms, a 400-seat performance hall, as well as numerous spacious classrooms and small work areas. Our dining room serves meals of an exceptionally high quality.

Since 2015 Carl Howes. Not the son, but the grandson of a teacher, joined the profession after reading natural sciences at Cambridge and embarking on teaching practice as a stepping stone to a planned career in education psychology. Finding he loved it, he reset his course. Mr Howes joined RPPS after spells as deputy at St Paul’s Juniors and King’s House School Richmond. This part of London is his patch, therefore, and he is married to a teacher too.
Influenced by Carol Dweck’s writing on growth mindsets, he is proud of the six-strand learning culture posted in every classroom which ‘we really live as teachers’. This has lately been paired with an increased focus on questioning (and fresh marking guidelines) and new philosophy for children training for staff who now lead...
