What says..

Teaching is inventive and interdisciplinary, stimulating plenty of reflection by the pupils about their learning. We were intrigued by the wide-ranging discussion in a geography class about the life of a raindrop. Parents find Keble’s open-door, welcoming approach ‘refreshing.' Pupils are chatty and lively, forming strong friendships and proud of each other’s achievements. Some parental concern in recent years that school’s ethos and trajectory are geared to 13+ at the cost of 11+ prep – there is now more...

What The Good Schools Guide says

Headmaster

Since 2021, Perran Gill, an engaging and chatty Welshman who was previously deputy head at Keble for nine years. Special Education Needs

Keble has a small team of professionals who support children with additional needs. These include three dyslexia-trained part-time teachers and learning support teaching assistants for Years 1 to 4. Support in the senior school is reduced and generally in-class. Children with a diagnosed need have a pupil passport with reasonable adjustments made. We support children with an EHCP, but Keble is not a specialist school and generally additional needs fall within the mild to moderate range. The curriculum is academic and from year 5 takes account of the Common Entrance syllabus. The emotional well-being of all pupils is a key aim at Keble and is supported by the whole school ethos, PSHE syllabus and additional social skills input and support groups.
