All-through school (for example 3-18 years). - An all-through school covers junior and senior education. It may start at 3 or 4, or later, and continue through to 16 or 18. Some all-through schools set exams at 11 or 13 that pupils must pass to move on.

Since 2003, Antony Hudson MA PGCE NPQH (50s). Previously deputy head at Prior’s Field. Before that, worked at assorted independents, all secondary and in Surrey or close, bar a three-year stint as housemaster and sixth form head in deepest Derbyshire to get taste for rural lifestyle out of system.
The first layman in the post, he nevertheless has an air of a man of the cloth and mentions of God are scattered into most conversations.
