What says..

Pupils were fascinated by the topic and their imaginations were up and running; mini whiteboards were covered with words and the room was buzzing as children discussed their ideas. What the school says...

Westonbirt Prep successfully combines the educational quality and individual attention of an intimate family school with the facilities, resources and opportunities of a school many times larger. Set within 210 acres of parklands in the heart of the Cotswolds, the school shares their exceptional grounds with Westonbirt Senior, an independent day and boarding school for girls; offering outstanding facilities including a 3m Sports Centre and state-of-the-art Music Technology Suite.

Westonbirt Prep offers a broad and varied curriculum, with great emphasis placed on sports, music and drama, each delivered by specialist teachers. Committed to making outdoor education part of school life, all year groups attend regular Forest School in the Spinney, a beautiful woodland clearing within the school grounds.

A strong family ethos is evident throughout the school and this combination of care and sense of community creates a happy, secure and stimulating environment for boys and girls to thrive.

The school has continued to grow recently and now has 158 pupils including the nursery. Mr Sean Price has been Headmaster of Westonbirt Prep School since September 2016. Along with the excellent team of teaching staff, Mr Price will continue to develop the Prep school which sees excellent academic results and each year pupils move on to Westonbirt Senior school, top local grammar schools and other local independents, many pupils obtain scholarships to their chosen senior school.

Westonbirt Prep offers full wrap around care 8am-6pm for busy and working parents.
