Since 2009, Mark Snell BA PGCE (mid 40s). Educated at Eastbourne College, University of Westminster (a degree in business studies) and Brighton University, where he gained his teaching qualification. His first job was at Eaton House the Manor. Utterly down to earth, direct, no nonsense and unpretentious (although one parent observed that his ‘oikishness verges on the pretentious given his background’). With his buzz cut hair style and his gruff manner, Mr Snell is so robust and hearty he could pass for the manager of a medium sized football club. Special Education Needs
Wetherby has a strong team of specialist teachers who work alongside the class teachers and are able to provide 1:1 support for children with difficulties in literacy and maths. All staff at Wetherby are conversant with different learning styles and the learning support provided is a particular strength of a school with high academic standards.
