What the school says...
Windrush Valley School was 26th in the Sunday Times Top 100 Preparatory Schools table in 2022. It is a thriving, well established and successful independent day school for boys and girls aged 3-11. We provide small class sizes in single-age cohorts, individual attention and affordable fees. We strive to ensure that all of our children are happy and successful. We understand the needs of busy parents and therefore provide supervised wrap-around care arrangements daily from 08:00 before school, and up to 18:00 after school.
The school prepares pupils for a successful future in either the independent or maintained sectors. We endeavour to ensure that all pupils achieve a place in their first-choice school when they transfer away at age 11.
We are always happy to meet with new and prospective parents; please come along and have a cup of coffee. You can tour the school, meet the staff and pupils with no obligation. You can book an appointment on-line or by telephoning the school office. From January 2019 we will be holding Play, Stay and Coffee mornings for prospective parents in our Foundation Unit every Thursday from 9am to 12 noon. Bookings can be made by calling 01993 8311973 and speaking to Kathryn Hawtin (School Secretary) ...Read more
