Special Education Needs
Y Canol is a resourced provision for pupils with severe and or profound and multiple learning difficulties. It is a department of a mainstream primary school. The base is purpose built and includes a wealth of excellent facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory stimulation room, adapted kitchen and soft playroom. Y Canol offers every child a highly specialist curriculum together with an individually appropriate package of integration with their mainstream peers. During the last ESTYN inspection the provision at Y Canol was judged to be “Simply Outstanding”.
