Special Education Needs
Pen-y-Bryn is a senior day special school for pupils with moderate to severe learning disabilities aged 11 to 19. Many of the pupils have additional physical, sensory and associated behavioural difficulties. The school on its present site has been open for more than 25 years in a district called Clase, near the town of Morriston. On the campus is an all age residential Autistic Unit called Maytree, which is part of Pen-y-Bryn School and provides a residential regional resource for South Wales.
