What the school says

We are a small village school, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. We are blessed with a strong, dedicated team of teachers and support staff, all of whom play a significant role in nurturing and cherishing our children, supporting them in being able to shine and flourish emotionally, physically and academically as part of the North Cotswold Schools Federation Multi Academy Trust. Our children benefit from small class sizes and extensive outdoor spaces, including forest school and an allotment. Our on-site hub provides additional space to support our children with their mental health and wellbeing.

SEN overview

Longborough Church of England Primary School is a mainstream school. The school may provide support for students with special educational needs as detailed below. If you require more information on conditions the school can support, we encourage you to contact the school directly.

SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

Our classes are very small and well staffed. In addition we have a very experienced Special Needs Coordinator (David Boardman) who visits the school three times a week to work with individuals and small groups of children. We have had experience of children with a wide range of disabilities/learning problems/attention problems. Our provision is not just for children at the lower end of the special needs spectrum. Since every child is taught as an individual we are also aware of the needs of the above average pupils and arrange additional sessions for those who are Gifted and Talented.
