We encourage anyone interested in joining Habs to visit us during one of our School in Action mornings prior to registration. At each 4+, 7+ and 11+ School in Action Morning you will be offered a tour of the school by our existing pupils

Exit

Almost all go to the senior school without having to sit the 11+ to get there; several girls will move up with an academic or other scholarship under their belt. Girls very occasionally advised in year 5 that they may not flourish in that fast-pac

A wonderfully modern, spacious building attached by a corridor to its equally stunning big sister school. No sense of it being a waiting room for the real thing – this school is special in its own right. Easily navigable even for its youngest pupi

What the school says

The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Girls’ School is based on a rural, 100-acre site in leafy Elstree, Hertfordshire, within easy reach of London and nearby to junctions on the M1 and M25. We have a vast coach network covering 34 different routes which will includes students from reception as of September 2025. With our strong pastoral care, broad curriculum and partnership opportunities, life at Habs Girls is fun and intellectually challenging. Both the boys’ and girls’ Schools offer the best of single-sex education in a unique co-educational environment where every sixth former will be taught at least one subject in a mixed-gender class.
