First come first served into nursery at age 3+, with automatic entry into reception. For reception upwards (4+), there’s a taster day with informal assessments and an interview with the head – more character-based than academic. Mid-year entry is

Our view
Smiling faces, happy waves and chirpy hellos from children in younger years made for a friendly welcome at this large prep. The site is grand, with dominating buildings and plenty of space for all, although head admits she’d like a hall large enough
