Students are allowed to bring mobile phones into school, with the following limitations: Students in years 3 to 8 should not have an internet enabled phone and must hand in non-internet enabled phones to either the school office (years 7 and 8) or the prep office (years 3 to 6), on arrival at school. Students in years 9-10 are required to hand their phones in to the school office on arrival at school. Students in years 11-13 are allowed to have mobile phones in school but must be switched off in all classes, corridors and other areas during teaching time.

Pupils & parents

Parents mostly well-heeled though about half are now dual income. Some flashy cars at pick up but certainly not all. While no formal PTA, plenty of fundraising socials and opportunities to mix with other parents, particularly lower down the school.

What the school says

At Pipers Corner all girls are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential. Academically successful, our girls progress to further study at Oxbridge and other top universities or specialist dance, drama and music colleges. All girls benefit from involvement in an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities and the use of the excellent facilities offered on our 36 acre site.
