‘Remedy’ is the Coletine word for days off (including half term) and we are not surprised. Boys here work and play extremely hard and are proud of their school, what it’s achieved over the centuries and what it continues to do. Not the place for a dreamer or a slacker but a fitting foundation for the fiercely independent brainy go-getter and for his parents who want to know that they are getting the real deal.

Mobile phone policy
A clear mobile phone policy is a really important part of modern schooling. This school has provided us with their policy.
Mobile phone policy
Handheld devices are part of everyday life, however, we have a duty of care with regard to their appropriate and safe use.
iPads, smart watches, e-readers and mobile phones are the only electronic devices allowed in school. Mobile phones must remain switched off and stored in lockers. A pupil can use their phone to make a call or send a text when granted permission by a member of staff. Mobile phone use without permission will be dealt with by the Head of Year. Mobile phones are allowed on school trips but will be collected by staff before bed so there is no access to them overnight. Parents are encouraged to ensure the content of any electronic device brought to school is age-appropriate.
