The University Of Hong Kong is the Oxbridge of Hong Kong. Having just turned 100 years old in 2011, this university has a lot to celebrate – and not just its strong academics (cosying up with the big boys in the top 25 in both the prestigious Times and QS rankings this year).

In the last century HKU has woven rich tradition into its university life, with a good many quintessentially English idiosyncrasies that can no longer be found even in the UK. The university also enjoys an electric urban environment, enthusiastic students and a huge volume of activities.
