Sapienza is a truly vast university situated just on the edge of central Rome. Its almost 150,000 (yes, one hundred and fifty thousand) students enjoy all the joys and horrors of life in the Italian capital, whilst attending one of the country’s most prestigious universities on one of its biggest campuses. The name Sapienza, meaning Wisdom, is either arrogant or accurate, but one feels that wise or otherwise, studying in Rome will certainly be an unforgettable experience.
