Heidelberg (not to be confused with the town/university of the same name in Ohio) is considered by some to be the best university in Germany.

Set in one of the country’s most enchanting medieval towns, Heidelberg is the oldest university in Germany, and is almost as attractive to tourists as it is to prospective students. You’ll need high-quality German language ability to get into any bachelor’s program, but it may be one of the best places to study in Europe once you’re there.
