Wesleyan has been coined the ‘Diversity University’. The campus tends to lean toward extreme political-correctness and, according to The New York Times, is “naively liberal”. But don’t expect to see a non-stop show of tree- hugging hippies, angry protesters and naked parties. By most measures, Wesleyan is a normal all-round (albeit progressive) college with a few bizarre frills. They even have a football team.
