We are continually expanding Uni in the USA and are already looking at the next unis we want to visit. So Syracuse is one of several in the Guide that comes under the heading of "Also worth considering...".

We don’t have an in–depth write–up on it yet, but we think it represents value for money once you pitch up on campus, and is definitely worth a look – so we’ve included a little information on it just to be sure you don't overlook it.

What says...

Syracuse is in many ways an ideal university, combining the good points of both big-college and small-college education along with an independent and occasionally experimental approach.

Fairly mainstream in its social life, Syracuse has a strong frat/party culture, but also lots of alternatives and a wealth of stuff to do on campus. The basketball team is a big deal, and the college newspaper is superb. The town of Syracuse is not the most exhilarating place on earth, but the region as a whole is beautiful and perfect for outdoorsy types. Beware the horrific winters, though!
