University of Miami
Lightbulb

We are continually expanding Uni in the USA and are already looking at the next unis we want to visit. So University of Miami is one of several in the Guide that comes under the heading of "Also worth considering...".

We don’t yet have an in–depth write–up on it, but we think it represents value for money once you pitch up on campus, and is definitely worth a look – so we’ve included a little information on it just to be sure you don't overlook it.

What says...

The East Coast alternative to Orange County, UM is for those who like some sun and games with their education, but who for whatever reason didn’t make it into UCLA. One of the top universities in the region, the academics are great here and getting better. With a student:teacher ratio of 11:1 the work load will challenge you to your limits, but for many students it plays second fiddle to the exuberant night life and a devotion to all things sporty.
