We are continually updating the site with new information on schools. When heads have been reposted since our last visit, and a new head is in place, we indicate with an asterix and give them a little time to settle in before our editors revisit.
Miss Edgar’s and Miss Cramp’s School (ECS), located in the affluent suburb of Westmount is private non-profit for 300+ girls ages 5-17. Founded 1909, ECS curriculum is Quebec Provincial/Canadian.

Modern English School (MES) Cairo is co-educational school based on English primary curriculum with choice of IGCSEs/A levels, American high school diploma (plus APs) or IBDP in senior school.
A smaller American-style international school in the popular Mont’ Kiara neighbourhood, M’KIS offers an IB curriculum through to IB diploma and US high school diploma for 640 students aged 3-18.
Mulgrave is an accredited independent day school with over 900 pupils aged 3 – 18, located on the North Shore of Vancouver and offering IBPYP, IBMYP and IB Diploma.
New Cairo British International School is a CIS accredited co-ed school with 700+ pupils, ages 3-18, offering the Dutch National Curriculum, National Curriculum for England, IBPYP and IB Diploma.
The private, non-profit New English School (Kuwait) offers 2,000 co-eds, ages 3-18 the NCE curriculum (IGCSE and Level A). The school has strong academic demands and excellent extra-curricular programs.
Privately owned Nexus International School is co-ed and delivers an IB curriculum for 1,000 students aged 3-18 in a purpose built, high-tech campus complete with open plan classrooms.
Nishimachi is a reputable international school in central Tokyo that has a rich tradition of providing students an international education with a strong emphasis on Japanese language and culture.
A co-ed day school for 1,770 students aged 3-18, NIST offers the IB primary, middle and diploma years. The only school in Thailand offering the Global Citizenship Diploma.
