What the school says...
London Christian School (LCS) is an independent primary school that exists to provide an excellent Christian education. Our vision is to see students excel in their abilities and become increasingly motivated and responsible, with an enthusiasm for learning and a deep interest in the world around them. Clear communication, positive relationships, real life experiences and a rich, varied curriculum are all vital components in the educational journey of each child. Our approach to education is holistic. We celebrate each childs unique talents and personality and encourage growth and development of skills in small, nurturing classes. Of course our greatest testimony is in our student body - so do contact us to arrange a private tour! ...Read more

Special Education Needs
Our aim is to enable all students to progress and to access the learning in all lessons (closing the gap between their current attainment and that of their peers). We seek to offer a range of interventions which address both academic and wider concerns. We also work to ensure that the more able are appropriately stretched and challenged. The SENDCo works with children, teachers, parents and external specialists to identify areas of need and provide support which is specific to each individual whether or not they have an identified need. Support may be provided on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. In school support is provided free of charge, but external support is usually paid for by parents. Staff regularly receive training on a range of topics such as dyslexia, autism and speech and language difficulties. We have experience of the EHCP process. We encourage children in their strengths as well as supporting them in their challenges.
