About Emma
Originally from London, Emma has settled in Hertfordshire with her family, including three teenage girls and has worked in the education sector for the last nine years. Prior to this, Emma worked in the film and TV industry, and she particularly enjoys discovering the creative arts schools offer. She has a personal interest in SEND, and thinks it is vital to parents to understand the support schools offer children with SEN when making their school choices, ‘having the right systems in place can completely change the growth and learning of a child with SEN. My daughter who has dyslexia has flourished since joining her secondary school and the SEND support in place had a lot to do with that’. She has completed her child protection and safeguarding training.
