About Hetty
After completing a PGCE in 2005, Hetty spent a number of years teaching in both the state and independent sectors before joining the Independent Schools Council as a school and parent advisor. More recently she worked for Talk Education as a school researcher and parent advisor, visiting and reviewing both prep and senior schools across the south of England. She lives in West Sussex with her husband, two teenagers and a couple of noisy schnauzers. She says, ‘I really enjoy visiting a mix of schools and discovering all that they have to offer. My breadth of experience, along with having navigated school choices for my own children, means I understand how tricky the process of finding the right school can be. I write my reviews to enable parents to make an informed and confident decision for their child.’ Hetty has completed up to date safeguarding and child protection training.
