The Banda aims high within an informal, enjoyable and happy community atmosphere. It is reputedly the best school in town for team sport and attracts many competitive children and parents, with the performing arts department further broadening the education.

Some critics would like to see a more balanced racial mix, but the dominance of parents of European origin is due more to the school’s location (close to Nairobi's outer suburbs) than anything else.

Why read our school review?

Unlike other websites, schools can't pay to be included in The Good Schools Guide. This means our review of this school is independent, critical and fair, and written with parents' best interests at heart.
