What the school says...
Welcome to our school. I extend a very warm welcome to you to come and visit Leicester Grammar School. I believe that when you do you will experience an atmosphere where the individual can develop his or her talents to the full. Here, there is collective pride in our achievements, with the first priority being to develop the individuals academic potential. Opportunities in music, drama and sport are given prominence because we believe that, through involvement in a wide range of extra-curricular activities, the individual personality can grow and our pupils will then be able to leave us with the confidence that they can meet the challenges of the modern world.
The entrance examinations for Leicester Grammar School consist of: ages 10-14 Verbal Reasoning, English and Maths; post 16 - Minimum of 2 A grades, 4B grades and an interview.
