Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.

Special Education Needs

Ripplevale School believes in an individual approach. The structured school day focuses on the needs of each individual through the delivery of the whole school curriculum, including a range of sporting activities and off site educational visits. Teachers and care staff work closely together to prepare Individual Educational and Care Plans designed to help each pupil overcome his difficulties while offering him the same opportunities as his peers in mainstream school. Our caring and dedicated staff team includes qualified teachers, teaching assistants, qualified and experienced residential care workers, an educational family liaison officer, support and administrative staff. All play a significant role in the education and development of each pupil and we all work to create a warm, informal, friendly atmosphere within which the boys feel secure and confident. Small class sizes and high staff/pupil ratios ensure each pupil receives the individual attention and support they need to experience success and start to enjoy learning. We provide the opportunity for all boys to sit a choice of subjects at GCSE level and many go onto further education. Careers preparation is a priority at Ripplevale School. Careers lessons are timetabled and a careers advisor visits the school regularly. Work experience and visits to local industries are arranged. Our Connexions schemes ensures continuity and on going support for school leavers within each pupils home area.
