Since 2007, Mrs Wendy Bellars MA PGCE (late 40s), born and educated in Glasgow. With an English mother and Scottish father, holidays with relatives in Somerset and Thurso were the norm, so it was only when she moved to England (for work) and north Wales (to live) in 1988 that the real cultural differences dawned on her.

Special Education Needs
Although the school is selective, this does not preclude children with Special Educational Needs from achieving a place. There is a small but experienced SEN teaching staff at QVS, who ensure that they have the requisite training to deal with SEN requirements as they arise. Nov 09.
