What the parents say...

I didn't know much about Steiner education before my children started in the kindergarten. I chose this school because I had been very impressed by the teenagers in the older classes, and felt that the school was clearly doing something right! I urge anyone who might be interested to visit the school, and meet the students and teachers. It's a truly special place, and as the years have gone by I realise more and more how lucky we are to have been able to send our children to Ringwood Waldorf School. The children have thrived, and as parents we have felt nurtured.

The Ringwood Waldorf School encourages children to think for themselves, in a supportive, nurturing environment. As a parent, I'm delighted to see my children have a keen interest in exploring subjects, becoming great problem solvers and ultimately going forward confidently in the direction of their dreams. We're very happy with the education that's been provided and the ethos of the school.

If you were seeking a school which allows your children to enhance their real potential, then this school will help. Teachers approach to pupils very differently comparing to schools under state curriculum. That enables children develop life time skills.

This school is truely amazing. The teachers are very talented and really understand child development. They ensure that every child in their class is engaged with learning at the level and in a way that the child responds to. The teaching style is very creative and not reliant on technology or worksheets. The students develop a love of learning that bodes well for future study in uni and within the business / workplace environment. The students develop a very practical problem solving approach that again will help them within the workplace. The project work done by students in the upper school stands head and shoulders above GCSE level work. The schools rounded approach to education helps students develop into confident, highly educated young adults that are a credit to the school and wider society.

Ringwood Waldorf School is an excellent school where teachers not only strengthen the academic and creative sides of students but also social and emotional. I would recommend this school to everyone. I am a parent at the school.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
