What the school says...

The London Acorn School has been open since September 2013 and is a new associate school to The Acorn School in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire which has been providing education on the Acorn Whiting model for over 20 years. Both schools are rated outstanding by Ofsted (London 2014. Nailsworth 2012).
/> 'Pupils outstanding achievement is the result of an outstanding curriculum, outstanding teaching, and a holistic approach to learning and personal development that is centred on pupils physical and emotional well-being and their moral and spiritual development. Flexible grouping in mixed-age classes with a very high adult-to-pupil ratio serves the needs of all pupils well. From the Kindergarten onwards, almost all pupils make outstanding progress because they are helped to acquire knowledge and skills that are impressive in breadth and depth, and at a rapid rate '(Published report on The London Acorn School, Ofsted, 2014). ...Read more

What the parents say...

This school really does what it aims to do. Our two children are so happy to go there everyday. As a highly educated professional family, we were worried this might be a bit of an alternative chaotic environment. Actually the academics are covered brilliantly but this is only a small part of what they do so well. The children do get to play (and do sports, art and crafts) but they work hard too! I'd strongly recommend keeping an open mind and taking a look. We are very glad our children are here

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
