Special Education Needs

CCAD tries to offer appropriate support to learners with specific learning difficulties / disabilities wherever possible to enable success on a main course of study. One to one support is available from specialist Lecturers to support individual student need. There are also classroom assistants to provide in class support where appropriate. The College aims to assess need prior to, or at entry either through disclosure of medical condition / learning difficulty / physical disability by the student, via interview & enrolment procedures and via screening such as Quickscan.
