What the parents say...

I had to remove my child from this school after a matter of months of her starting due to a number of serious concerns. Whem approaching the head teacher (Mr Rosser) regarding my concerns I was told “if I didn’t like it then find another school”. His attitude was enough for me to know I would never feel comfortable leaving my child in his care.

Appreciating the first year was bound to have teething problems, any issues were quickly dealt with. By the second year there appeared to be a number of children removed from the school for various problems. I removed 2 of my children due to teacher bullying concerns, poor communication and a deterioration in my children's health and happiness. Whilst every child with thrive differently in different schools, this one I am sad to say caused my children great upset.

This has been an amazing school for my daughter. She joined at reception in the first year of school being open and we could not be happier with the teaching staff and our daughter’s progress. The teachers are all lovely and caring, always have time to answer any concerns and listen to the parents taking things on board. Due to school being small (for now at least!), the teachers know all the pupils and parents well. The standard of teaching is high, but kids all work at their level so nobody feels out of place or stressed. The headmaster, Mr Rosser, has a real vision for this school and we all believe it will become a top school in the area. Maybe I am totally biased but I can’t fault the school. Also, the uniforms are beautiful (my daughter gets so many compliments when out and about!). The school is, at present, in a temporary building (which is amazing in itself) and the plans for the new permanent building are looking fantastic (for September 2019 opening). I really hope our daughter can stay at a Wootton Park until her A- levels!

Independent schools frequently offer IGCSEs or other qualifications alongside or as an alternative to GCSE. The DfE does not record performance data for these exams so independent school GCSE data is frequently misleading; parents should check the results with the schools.
