Abbot’s Lea is a school for up to 272 students aged 3-19, with a diagnosis of autism and global developmental delay. Many students have additional complex needs, including social, emotional and mental health problems. The school operates a holistic educational provision, which places equal importance on academic progress, specialist therapeutic support and development of life skills. The school has its own in-house multidisciplinary team, including SALT, OT, psychotherapy and positive behaviour support.
