What the school says

Crescent School, part of the Princethorpe Foundation, is a thriving co-educational independent day school in Bilton, Rugby, for children aged 4-11 years. Learning is tailored to individual needs, ensuring pupils achieve great things in a positive environment. Our dedicated staff bring out the best in each child through classroom learning, sports, music, drama and charitable activities, with the aim that they become good friends, good learners and good citizens. We provide a foundation for life which prepares children for their first-choice senior school, many continuing on to Princethorpe College, the Foundation’s senior school, or the local grammar schools.

Children with mild learning difficulties receive additional support and individual work within the classroom. Children with a more specific learning difficulty are withdrawn from a lesson for a short while several times a week for individual or paired work aimed at helping them cope in the classroom. None of our children have severe learning difficulties.
