We think the key to supporting children with special educational needs is a close working relationship with parents, coupled with carefully differentiated work and additional provision to ensure children can access the school curriculum. We have a dedicated special educational needs co-ordinator, and also additional learning support assistants who run groups to support children with reading, writing, maths, physical co-ordination and behaviour.
