SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

Littlegreen School is a special school for boys at key stage 2 and 3 who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD). Boys at the school benefit from small class groups and the primary focus is on supporting their return to mainstream education. Typically the pupils of Littlegreen have social and communication difficulties and are of average to above average ability and are not dependent on one to one support. Our primary objective is to work with the pupil and his family to effect re-integration to a mainstream school or college, at the earliest opportunity. All boys work towards this aim and we have an excellent history of successful reintegration reflecting our very real commitment to inclusion. In 2002 the school received a 'School Achievement Award' in recognition of our work on re-integration.
