Marden Vale CofE Academy is a mainstream school with resourced provision. Their resourced provision has a capacity of 18 and has 18 pupils on roll. If you require more information on conditions the school can support, we encourage you to contact the school directly.

SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

The SEN department at the school has a team of four SEN teachers, one of whom has a postgraduate diploma in SpLD. The School offers a wide field of expertise in many areas of SEN, eg autism, ADHD, EBD, Medical Conditions and MLD. All SEN pupils are included in mainstream classes, where teachers differentiate for the range of learning.

There is a large team of well trained Teaching Assistants who support the pupils in the class rooms. The school has a specialist Learning Centre for pupils with Statements for complex needs. The Centre is used by local schools as a resource base and for Inreach and Outreach work.

The school has been adapted for wheelchair access and there are disabled toilets with changing facilities
