SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

We at Wilson’s Endowed CE School ensure children with SEN make good progress. We use the code of practice as a basis for organising our SEN provision. Where a pupil falls outside of the expected levels of achievement we use PIVATS (performance indicators) to assess and monitor their progress.

If we find that a pupil is falling behind we will take action to meet their needs ourselves. This may include individual targets, working with a teaching assistant or specific work. We call this School Action.

If extra help is needed we will involve outside agencies for advice and support. We call this School Action Plus.
