What the school says

Mrs Gill Makinson has over 25 years experience in teaching and working with children who have SEN and disabilities. Her knowledge and understanding has been rounded by family experience of a child with a range of SEN. Gill's empathy and desire to make a difference for children with SEN benefited from her background as a qualified primary teacher. In taking the SENCo role within an independent school she sought to to develop her skills and train at Masters level, gaining qualification in Specific Learning Difficulties and then an MA in Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
