What the school says

At Sedgemoor Manor School we deliver specialist educational, vocational, and therapeutic and care services for young people aged 10-19 years with a diagnosis of autism and associated complex needs. Our school is located in the peaceful and idyllic Somerset countryside near the town of Highbridge. Whilst we benefit from a beautiful rural location, the school has good transport links, being situated just a five minutes’ drive from the M5 motorway. We are proud that the young people leaving our school all move on to further learning or employment.

SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

At Sedgemoor Manor School, we encourage young people to follow their passions and to avoid placing limitations on what they can achieve. We work holistically with each student, guiding them to develop socially and emotionally, and providing them with the tools and strategies to address the challenges that their autism presents. Our aim is that they achieve the academic qualifications for the next step of their life journey, while building the confidence and resilience to pursue their ambitions.
