SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

Hamond's is a mainstream High School catering for students between the ages of 12 and 18. A nurturing school, Hamond's has an excellent reputation for the work which we do and the support which we give our students. The school has a Progress Centre where it is possible for us to give intensive teaching and learning time to students, either 1:1 or in small groups, as deemed appropriate and necessary. The school also has an Improvement Centre where we work with young people whose learning behaviours need support and modification. Hamond's is a school where inclusion is always top of the agenda and provision is made to support those in minority groups such as EAL, G&T, health and medical needs, or indeed any student who might be at risk of underachieving.
