Westlands is a community school providing for pupils from five to sixteen years with a range of special needs. Pupils have moderate learning difficulties including social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Some pupils have autistic spectrum disorders. The school takes day and residential pupils and can accommodate fifteen boarders. Residential pupils stay for four nights a week.
