                          EVERY CHILD IS SPECIAL.
This is the core of our belief at White Rock School.

We work as a Whole Staff team (this includes all Admin. staff, MTA's, the Caretaker and any other staff employed by the School) to support and encourage the children in our care to develop skills, to grow in confidence and to try their best at all times. We offer various SEN training opportunities, many of which are open to all staff who wish to attend. Our School team is very dedicated and hard working, always striving to meet the need of any child, whatever that need might be.

We aim to deliver the curriculum in the most creative way that we can devise, giving all children equal opportunity, as is their entitlement, and the chance to succeed.

We have easy Disabled access around the school site and have recently opened a purpose built Medical room to cater for any physical need. We are proud of the progress through our school made by a boy with Muscular Dystrophy and also that of a child with Moderate Hearing Difficulties. We have a Hearing loop in the school Hall and have trained staff to enable the use of radio transmitter hearing aids.

We have many excellent External Agency links and can access support from a large range of sources to support a variety of needs - be they medical, emotional, behavioural, Learning (across the spectrum)or anything else.

We pride ourselves on having a warm, exciting and busy, creative, fully inclusive, environment for ALL our children to grow and flourish in.
