SEN statement

Provided by the school and not part of our review

Yewstock School caters for pupils who have moderate or severe learning difficulties and profound and multiple learning difficulties. We also have three autistic bases. All at Yewstock are equally valued, we aim to provide a warm, friendly and supportive environment in which parents and carers are actively encouraged to become involved in their child's education and future.

Primary pupils are class based, spending the majority of their time with one teacher; older pupils are subject based for much of the time. All children follow the national curriculum and receive support appropriate to their needs.
