If they choose to do so, it is on the understanding that they use them only in the following locations: in the classroom with the permission of the teacher or on the school environs at permissible times - common rooms, boarding houses etc. The mobile device must be kept out of sight in public areas, eg the flat, the dining hall and the library unless it is being used as a learning resource.
