A ‘hidden gem’ that offers a very successful blend of nurture and strong academics. ‘Gentle’ is the word most often used to describe the school, with parents citing its ‘villagey feel’ and ‘outstanding pastoral care’. Best suited to a ‘child who is academically interested and motivated’. Not a school for those who want intensive drilling, it ‘gets the children there via the scenic route’ as one parent nicely put it.

Mobile phone policy
A clear mobile phone policy is a really important part of modern schooling. This school has provided us with their policy.
Mobile phone policy
From Year 6 boys may walk to and from school independently. For this reason they may bring a phone to school which is then deposited with the school office upon arrival at the start of the day, and returned before they leave at the end of the day. Where boys bring phones for this reason, we encourage non-smart phones.
