With a staff who are emotionally engaged with, and academically ambitious for, their pupils, there is no doubt that children here are happy and make excellent progress. They are attentive, polite and delightfully entertaining. A parent told us, ‘At the age of four, it is impossible to know who your child will be or where his or her interests and strengths will lie at 11.’ Here, the school, parents and children go on that journey of discovery together, so that when the time comes the right choices are made. We think Rosemead is definitely ‘one to watch’ as it carves out a specific niche in this corner of London. It is probably not, however, one for tiger parents.
