A relatively small rural school with a strong traditional curriculum, excellent extra-curricular opportunities and firmly rooted in the values of good behaviour, good citizenship and having a go at everything. This is a school that is getting results and a great deal more right in an unpretentious way. A parent summed things up, telling us, ‘We looked at lots of other schools, most with sixth forms, but they just couldn’t offer us what Ryedale does in terms of good results, great extra-curricular and general happiness.' You can't ask for much more than that.
