It was the comment from one wise mother that summed up the school succinctly. ‘By the time they yet to year 8, they are ready to leave, having outgrown the school. This is the way it should be and a sign of a successful school. They’ve done their job.’ Quite.

Mobile phone policy
A clear mobile phone policy is a really important part of modern schooling. This school has provided us with their policy.
Mobile phone policy
Following a change in safeguarding regulations for all schools, we will no longer be allowing access to mobile communication devices on school vehicles. Any non-school device which can be connected to the internet, either by mobile internet, WiFi or through hot-spotting is no longer permitted to be used in school. ‘Dumb’ devices and devices such as e-readers may be used, as can devices for listening to music. Smart phones and internet enabled devices may not be used. Arrangements for boarders' use of devices (which they have under supervision) remain as per the school's policy and this is available on request at the beginning of term.
